Dogfish Head 120 Minute
Too extreme to be called beer? Brewed to a colossal 45°P, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continually hopped with high alpha American hops, dry-hopped every day in the fermenter for a month, and aged for a month on whole leaf hops, 120 Minute IPA is by far the strongest IPA ever brewed. And at 21% ABV and 120 IBU’s, you can see why we are calling this the Holy Grail for Hopheads.Reviews (1)

If you love extreme then you will enjoy this beer. Make sure you're not driving anywhere for a while after consumption. This may be better labeled as a barley wine rather than an imperial ipa. The pour is a deep copper color with a small head. The initial aroma is of strong floral hops and a hint of alcohol. After it settles the malty aroma comes through. The taste is of sweet caramel malts and citrus as well as floral hops and the alcohol comes through very noticeably. The mouth feel is slightly oily/syrupy and heavy.
