Never been to the GABF and my (now somewhat older) college buddies are going out.

Any suggestions for proper enjoyment from GABF veterans?

3,000 beers x 1 oz samples = 3,000 ounces = 250 12 ounce beers = 14 beers per hour (17.5 total sampling hours)

MY first time was on Friday night last year, "07"

My best suggestion is to buy tickets for TWO nights. Then come up with a plan of attack. This is a Huge event and you just can't enjoy the whole thing in one night.

Some people do Half the room each night. Others just hunt down their favorite style.

Also since we were in CO. from NH, we stayed out there and made the event the 'kick off' to our vacation. Thus making it a bit more cost effective.

I am wondering if there are any contests that award a trip to the GABF.
