I'm so sorry to hear about your experiences with "screaming" kids. These places are my sanctuary as well and I fully understand that a poorly behaved or upset child can bring down the experience for everyone within. However, I take exception to your narrow-minded generalization that all children behave poorly. My daughter and most other children I've seen at good beer haunts, especially those with children's menus, are better behaved than many of the so-called "adults" frequenting the place. In the unlikely event that my child were to ever have a behavior issue in public, I would do what any self-respecting parent would do ... resolve her issue as quickly as possible or, failing that, get my order to go and take her home. Now that that's over with, anyone have anything constructive to say that's on point (e.g., child-friendly places)?

Found another one: Franklin's in Hyattsville, MD. Full kid's menu, good pale ale and excellent onion rings.
