The answer would usually be the one my buddy just finsihed brewing and is passing around like a proud papa.
As far as beers that you buy I's have to go with Ommegang's Three Philosophers Quadrupel or La Fin du Monde by Unibroue. There was a stout made by Great Lakes brewing that I tried once that had a great flavor. Hell, I don't know, just hand me another home brew and I'll be happy.

My favorite beer is generally the one in my hand. Right now i am a double IPA and barley wine freak with most of my favorites coming out of southern CA

For the everyday beer, newcastle Brown is my favorite. nice and smooth
