Northwestern NJ has a new place opening any day now called Salt.

Check out their beer list here, real nice selection. I can't wait to try the place out.

I'm fairly new to the whole beer and micro-brew scene, but Bell's Brewery in Kalamazoo, Michigan is must go.

Well I live in Philly, so here's my favorite places....they all have an awesome beer selection, crowd, food, and music selection.

1. Fergies
2. Jose Pistolas
3. Urban Saloon (I work there, so it has to be great)
4. Good Dog
5. The Royal Taver,
6. South Philly Tap Room

A great bar in South Florida is Brother Tuckers. It's located on E Atlantic Blvd in Pompano Beach near A1A. This Belgian Beer Cafe' has an eclectic beer menu ( bottle and draught; the draught changes periodically) and food menu. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Philly:
Monks Cafe is a great place if you can get in. Try the sour puss, and the burger with truffle cheese. OMFG it's good!

Joisey:
I like a little dive in NJ called "Yosh's Linwood Inn", decent beer selection (Anchor Steam, McSorely's, Yueng Ling) and dynamite burgers. It might be getting torn down by a developer claiming eminent domain. I hang there to watch the Mets games, and the playoffs.

Harvest Moon is a nice place too, I go there every year with SWMBO and then see a play "downtown".

Victory in Princeton is a decent place but the food is better than the beer (beef short ribs, and the osso busco is f'n amazing).

Celtic Mist and Brewhaus are the two best locals in Springfield, IL. Fortunately they are only a block apart!
