Headed up to Glens Falls last weekend to pick up 3 Corny kegs from Coopers Cave Ales for a Beer Tasting Party at my club-- Radeau Red, Pale Ale, & Bumpo Brown Ale. Owner/ Brewer Ed Bethel has been a historical boating friend of mine for years, and has brought and share his fine product with me in the past so I thought I'd support a pal and enjoy some real micro's at the tasting.....
Never had been to the brewery and found it a real nice place, they're even talking of adding a pub on in the future.
After my visit to Coopers Cave, I saw a nice outdoor restaurant, and decide to lunch-- turns out it was Davidson Brothers Brew Pub ! Had a very enjoyable lunch washed down with their smooth ESB.
A great day out, and some excellent brews.
