I got my "Turkey Fryer" kettle and burner @ the local discount retailer whose name rhymes will "small fart". It cost 65 bucks, and cheaper than what a cheap kettle will run you at a homebrew shop.

I liked it because it comes with a smaller kettle that you can slide the larger kettle into thus creating a nice thick base to disperse heat.

I get my supplies from Northern Brewer dot com, mostly because there is no local HBsupply in NJ.

There are several LHBS in NJ. Brewer's Apprentice in Freehold is awesome. Check them out if you can.

I guess kettles and burners are easy to come by and definitely cheaper if you know how and where to shop.

Yeah, I'm about half an hour from Freehold too. I'm in Beachwood.
